Growing up, every year I would look forward to hearing those magical words “Play Ball”. They meant it was spring time again and baseball season was upon us.
Ah..those warm spring evenings, listening to the Dodgers on my transistor radio, Vin Scully doing the play-by-play …..(sorry, I was overcome by a wave of nostalgia).
Even though I am well past the “growing up” stage, I can still think of no better way to spend a spring evening than at a baseball game. So please join us on Friday Apr. 24 at Met’s Stadium for a wonderful AFC Social event for the entire family and take advantage of the special price for AFC members.
